Making use of an ancient dress.

I wanted to make use of this dress since its been sitting in my wardrobe all sad. The last time I wore this dress was with my mums huge petticoat and my only pair of heels, prancing around the backyard all happy and gay. Now I wear my docs with it. YEEEEAAAAH!

What I wore:
- Pink flower crown: Handmade.
- Jesus necklace: Two dollar shop.
- White prancing princess dress: Great Auntie.
- Rainbow socks: Some cute sock shop.
- Docs: Thrifted.

In the second picture, I'm holding my kitty cat, Mr PePe. We bought him not long ago and he is N.U.T.S! He attacks toilet paper to shreds, loves his Pom Poms ( he carries them around in his mouth, It's so adorable ^.^) and randomly attacks me, and me only. He doesn't wear bow ties yet, but I'm preparing for when he gets bigger.

This looks like a D.I.Y post.

After days and days of painting, and drying, and painting, and drying and.... dah lets get on with it. (there are a lot of layers okay!) I finally finished my new D.I.Y! I decided to spazz these tap shoes up after I totally sucked at dancing in them. So I put them to good use, glittered them up and removed the tippity tappity bits from off the soles.
I've been everlastingly looking at this D.I.Y for quite some time, and now I have finally conquered it. Did you hear that guys? I CONQUERED IT!! I was also thinking of making a super duper cool tutorial on how I did it. BUT! I thought it would be super duper B.O.R.I.N.G since there are way too many out there in the... you know internet-sphere! The one I used was one from RookieMarlena the clever D.I.Y queen wrote it, obviously!
I even made a GIF to show how many different pairs of socks they look good with :)

Other than my new shoes, I found a bouquet of humongous, fake, pink flowers and made some use out of them by making another crown to add to the collection. I also added a little bit of glitter to give them some PIZZAZ! I love the colour, ya'll know pink is what I like best :)

This is one of my favourite creations. A Frida Kahlo badge!! I found a doll, pulled the head off (Heh!Heh!) and used it for the badge. The body is currently being used for an art project. I'm really excited about it, and promise to post about it when its done.
But until then, I shall reveal another Paramore video, because I am creepily obsessed. Bye bye my kitties \^.^/

Pink and Orange vibes.

I'm getting pink and orange vibes from my hair in this post. Hmmmm... I wonder why? I think it's my latest inspiration. (Pssst!'ll find out at the end of the post.) I cut my fringe short and used my pastel chalks to rub in the colours. Because of that and the handmade troll doll badge I'm wearing, I thought it would be fun to add pink and orange troll dolls around the border of my pictures. YAY!

What I wore:
- Pink zipper earrings and necklace: Gifts for my birthday.
- Troll doll badge: Handmade by meeeeee!
- Patterned denim jacket: Myer.
- Badass girl shirt: Hand-me-down from mum.
- Tartan dress worn as skirt: Thrifted.
- Rainbow socks: One of those cute sock shops ^.^
- Docs: Thrifted.

Now to finally mention my latest inspiration. It's Hayley Williams from the band Paramore! and because I am creepily addicted to her and know all the words to the song 'I'm Still into you', I thought it would be appropriate to show you how she performs. BEHOLD!

I need that shirt, and that jacket, and those tights, and that..... Gah, I should get a job.

Birthday awesomeness-ness-ness...etc.

On Monday I turned fifteen! Which follows with celebration. As I wrote in my last post, I promised to show you my favourite gifts. I was wearing my new feathered headdress in my last post also, pretty awesome huh? Here are some other favourites:
- Two pairs of cat tights.
- Virgin Mary socks.
- Doughnut socks.
- Pink creepers.
- Can't tell soup dress.
- Cat bowler hat. I actually got two, I was wearing one with my can't tell soup dress. They were sent in a bag, so they were fully distorted unfortunately :( I'm trying to fix them though.
- The French Cat-Book
- Smiley face badge.
- Vintage ring.
- Jesus necklace.
- Cat earrings.( I love these, you'll see me wearing them today. I'm putting a 'What I Wore' post up.)

There is one thing I haven't added to my favourites and they are my brand new TRANSPARENT DOCS! They aren't in this post because THEY DON'T FIT ME! :'( And the suckiest bit is they were the biggest size you could get. Now I'll never get to wear a pair! Damn these big feet.

Here's something my feet weren't too big for, Pixie boots! The ones Marlena wears. The ones I've been craving for so long. I bought them with my birthday money at a little shop called Retrostar, AND THEY'RE ALL MINE! MWAHAHAHAHA!

After I found my darling Pixie boots, I ran on over to the t-shirt rack and found this! What's better than a t-shirt with Batman getting rainbow lasered by Godzilla? Yeah that's right, NOTHING! :)

The 'you can't tell it's soup' dress.

Yesterday, my mum and I took the train into town. This is what I wore, and it was inspired by some of my favourite items I got given for my birthday this week. Yep, I am now fifteen. I'll do a post of my favourite gifts soon, but for now enjoy this outfit please.
You probably can't tell, but the pattern on this Campbells soup dress says 'can't tell' instead of 'Campbell.' I actually didn't realise until I took a photo of the pattern.

I thought since the camera's out, i'll take a photo of one of my favourite gifts. This amazing feather headdress from my beautiful Auntie and family, and my Nan and Granddad. It's so big I have no idea where to put it, but that doesn't change the awesomeness of it. :)

Waiting for the train.

What I wore:
- Cat bowler hat: eBay.
- Duckie glasses: Thrifted.
- Black, studded leather jacket: Dangerfield.
- Can't tell soup dress: Dangerfield.
- Emily The Strange bag: Gift from Auntie.
- Cat tights: eBay.
- Docs: Thrifted.

A few of my favourite things

A few of my favourite things

Hello my kitties. My latest interests are pictured above as a collage which I made on Polyvore. One day when I finally open an Etsy store, I could save up for all of these things. I've been thinking a lot about opening one lately. The name, the swing tags, what I would be selling and how perfect the quality has to be. The quality is what's scaring me the most :( What if someone buys something and it breaks the next day? I'm going to be practicing making things ALOT before I think about selling them. *sigh* Anyways, lets get on with it.

Weekly Interests:

- Neon orange fur coat - Found here.
I found a jacket like this at Camberwell market on the weekend and thought it would look pretty awesome with a feather headdress. I regret not begging my mum for it, but it was pretty expensive. So I tried (and succeeded) to find one on the net to add to my wishlist.

- Cat bowler hat - Found here.
I have been craving this hat for ages, it's just so awesome. When you go to the website, it tells you they're bear hats but I like the thought of cat hats :)

- Unicorn ring - Found here.
There are absolutely no words for this fantastic ring ^.^

- Cat tights - Found here.
I am currently going through a white tights phase, and these might be the reason why.

- Meadham Kirchhoff Nail wraps - Found here.
I love nail wraps but MEADHAM KIRCHHOFF??!! Yes please!

- White pixie boots - Found here.
I've fallen in love with these pixie boots ever since I saw Marlena wear them <3

This last picture is from Papermag. I absolutely adore this photo shoot inspired by Weetzie Bat. I love the hair on "Weetzie", and the clothing is inspiring too.

I'm back from my school holidays now (NOOOOO!) and to look on the bright side of things I remembered that I have art class (YESSSSS!) We've been learning about Salvador Dali and creating our own weird collages, but before all of that we had to choose a portrait of either this girl ^ or a creepy looking guy who sort of looks like a zombie but isn't anyways, as you can see I chose the girl. The next step was to draw a grid on your piece of paper (lightly with pencil) then one on the picture you chose. You had to then use the grids to draw an exact replica of the portrait you chose, after that you could make the picture your own, by changing the hair style, adding makeup or whatever. Here is my result (below) and to be honest I love it! The grids helped a lot and it's the first time I've drawn a picture like this without the nose being five centimetres from where it should be. As the title says, this picture is real life!  \^.^/

Favourite bloggers Faux Fur Kitten style.

Lately I've been drawing my favourite bloggers. I've been choosing the main features about them and I think they have turned out pretty well. When I first thought about drawing my favourite bloggers, Marlena came straight to mind. She is the only person I know who wears Polly Pocket clip on earrings and Care Bear dresses, so I think you can tell that this is Marlena, who writes the blog Self-constructed freak.

Here's Ariana, who writes Spookypuke.

Kailey, who writes Mermaidens.

Tavi, who writes Style Rookie and Rookie.

Zoe, who writes Girl With The Flower.

And last but not least, my favourite, Twinkie Chan, who writes TWiNKiE CHAN. I think I captured all of her main features perfectly. The glasses, the hair, the scarf and crochet needle. LOVE IT!

Not long after I found all of that lined paper to draw on, I found a folder to store it in. It had those plastic sleeves on the front, spine and back of it, so I could make it look like I made my own folder cover. I felt pretty dumb after I figured out I wrote 'book' on it though.

To finish this post off I present you with my new painted nails. They are the best they have been in a long time.
