I am my own teen cult classic.

I'm yellow this weekend! Yippee! I love the yellow, especially when it's styled like Weetzie's do. :)

I've worn this skirt with this Mickey jumper together a few times, but with my growing colour coordinating skillz and experimentation with hair and make up, this by far has to be my favourite outcome. I was influenced by teen cult classics, like Clueless, Heathers, Ghost World, and Daria.

Also, this sweater is the biz! A wicked sweater collection is what I'm aiming for. I mean, it can't be that hard to thrift something as easily as I did this original Mickey Mouse one, right? (Yep, it's thrifted alright!) Why can't this sweater all of a sudden end up in a thrift shop especially for me? Ugh!

Likewise, do you like how my background is similar to my Mickey piece? Pretty clever huh? Yayah!

What I wore:
- Mickey Mouse sweater: Thrifted.
- Smiley pin: Two dollar shop.
- Tartan skirt: Thrifted.
- Black socks: Stolen from my Dad.
- Saddle shoes: Ebay.

Here's a mini (or not so mini) mood board of what inspired mwah. The quotes amuse me a little too much, hehe.

Outfit of that one week.

Here is that dress I so gross-ly wore for a week. Don't worry, I washed it before I took these. Smelly fumes won't be seeping out of your computer screen, haha :)

As I said in this post, I stole this dress from Mum when she was cleaning her wardrobe out. I love that it's a simple shape, but made from not so simple fabric. So this dress alone doesn't look like you're a lazy bum altogether, do you know what I mean? It was my favourite possession for a bit, but I guess I got bored of it after a while knowing I had a whole wardrobe full of other things I could start getting experimental with. I started wearing this dress when I first got into tea, so I name it my tea party dress. But I'll never get bored of tea, no sir!

I think these pixie boots add to the tea party look. I just love them so much! But I'm afraid this could be the last time I wear them. I was prancing around the backyard, (LIKE A PIXIE! Haha! PUNNN!) (Ahem! ANYWAYS!) and the heel just ripped off! Well, I guess I saw that coming, they were cheap, nasty, synthetic shoes that were disguised as awesome pixie boots I just HAD. TO. BUY! UGH! They have been peeling a lot ever since I first got them, and I kinda didn't mind it because I liked naming them my Duckie shoes. But now, they're dead! :( Maybe I could get my handy Dad to help me fix them? Wish me luck! Pray for my Duckie shoes!

No matter what, this crown will always be one of my favourite possessions, along with the other ones I've been making recently. I absolutely love wearing them with unicorn poop coloured hair, but now my blue is washed out for school. Ugh, why do schools have so many rules against rainbow people?! It's tooooorture! *Sigh* I'm using my pastels to experiment with natural hair colours though, I've gone brown today! I might keep it in for the first week of school, don't you think? I love my thick brows brown too, eyebrows are awesome! \^.^/

Here's a picture I WAS happy with out of the first bunch of pics I took.

What I wore:
- Meadham Kirchhoff crown: Handmade.
- Cat earrings: Ebay.
- Hello Kitty necklace: Kept from when I was a kiddie.
- Floral dress: Mum's cleanout.
- Ring: Thrifted.
- Detachable frills on socks: Handmade.
- Duckie pixie boots: Retrostar shop.

In my last post I was going on about how I need to draw and sew and do other things more. Well, there is one little artwork I forgot to show you. In art class we got to do Pop Art again! And this time I decided to draw the gorgeous Marilyn Monroe. I love how it turned out. I'm so proud of myself! *Wipes proud tear from face*

Outfit Of The Night.

Last night I got all dressed up for a night out with my fam. My Dad, my Bro and I walked around Saint Kilda while we waited for my Mum to come out of a Devendra Banhart gig we dropped her off at. We ate cake, walked along the beach, and even got bought tickets to ride the Scenic Railway at Luna Park! It was really the best night I've had in a long time, especially because I felt good in what I wore to the occasion :)

It was of course going to be a cold night, so I wore my absolute favourite coat! Believe it or not, this coat has made an appearance on this blog before. I drew it! Do you remember the "OOTD's you missed" post? Anyways, I came home to this beauty after a long, hard day at school. Can you believe Mum thrifted it?! And it has a hoodie too! It's literally the best thing ever! >.<

I thought a fabulous night out deserved a fabulous, thick layer of red lipstick. I've never really worn red lipstick that much, because I felt it was too messy, that it would end up all over your teeth and make you look like you ate someone. But it wasn't all that bad, in fact, I felt awesome in red lippy! I'm totally in love with it. I was also inspired by a rad gal on Instagram who wears red lipstick all the time with her blue hair.

My Mum recently started listening to Sky Ferreira's new album "Night Time, My Time", and I couldn't help but fall in love with it, along with her style too.
One of my absolute favourite songs has to be "You're Not The One". Also, she made a video with Ariel Pink and I am tooootally committed. So they are, and a couple of rad Sky pics. Laterz! ^.^

Keeping it simple.

School holidays are finally here! Well the second week of it. So far I have been redecorating my bedroom! I'm so happy with it and will definitely post pics when it's 100% finished.
Oversized, simple dresses are where it's at for me these holidays. I've been wearing this oversized, floral dress I found during my Mum's wardrobe cleanout quite a lot (it's actually pretty gross), and I wanted to post about it, but I wasn't happy with the photo's I took. I'll have to take some more soon. But this here is another simple outfit I'm happy with, especially with my blue hair and brows! >.<

I have worn this dress on my blog before, but I love it so much I just had to post about it again. \^.^/ I have been super ecstatic about my outfits lately! I know I said it before in my last "What I wore" post, but at the moment I feel as if nothing bad could happen with them. Maybe it's my brows? Or that I am experimenting more and more with my makeup? OOOR that I can rub unicorn poop colours into my hair in a moment! Whatever it is, I'm never going to stop. No sir, I'm not ending what I have now started.
I have to say, I feel my style has grown quite a lot since I first started this blog. I mean, compare this recent outfit, with this one from when I first begun obsessing over fashion. Wow, I'm so excited for what is yet to come! I LOVE YOU FASHION! I AM YOUR BIGGEST FAN! Oooookay, I've gotta stop drinking tea, too much caffeine! (Yeah, I'm a tea girl now. I have cute little tea parties with the knitted tea-pot cosies and biscuits! Get over it! Haha)

I wish I could dye my hair this colour, but my school wouldn't allow it. Damn you and your rules against people's happiness!

Anyways, here are some closer pictures of my makeup. I'm so happy with it that I've officially made it my everyday eye makeup! It isn't too dressy, and isn't too blah, you know what I mean? Gwen Stefani and Bjork would have to be my main inspirations for it. Oh, and Jenny, one of my recent finds who runs a rad shop called Mind The Mustard and has a lot to do with it too. Once again, I am totes inspired by another amazing gal. I was so close to waxing my eyebrows off, dudes! Her makeup and style and hair and, well everything, are just so great! Girls are awesome! Please don't stop being awesome! GRRRL POWER!
I love these socks! And I love these shoes! I'm running out of things to write on this thing. I just love everything and am feeling so happy! Yay! Happiness is the best! Stay with me forever! Haha :)

 What I wore:
- Black, oversized dress: Mum's cleanout.
- Virgin Mary socks: Dangerfield.
- Platforms: Mum's cleanout.

Hopefully I'll get motivated and draw something soon, it's been a while. Oh, pencil! I missed you! Or even sew something! Gosh, school has really taken it out of me. I'll make sure to make something totes tasty to make it up to my wardrobe. Haha, maybe another Meadham Kirchhoff replica! Ohhhhhhh! I'm so excited!

Anyways, here are some more silly selfies. See y'all laterz! \>.</
